HD609 Firmware Update

13-03-18    ZAAPTV have released another Update which has fixed many issues such as over heating, audio and freezing. Please follow the instructions below:

Before you begin:

1. Go to MY APPS and Select Update
2. Press OK to “Check for Updates”.
* If an update is found you will need to Press OK  to download and install the Update. Follow the instructions on screen. When done, complete the Factory Reset instructions below.
* If you have the latest update, please proceed with the Factory Reset instructions below.

Factory Reset:
1. Go to the Main Menu (press the home or back buttons if you are on another screen)
2. Select MY APPS
3. Go to SETTINGS and Select STORAGE AND RESET
4. Select FACTORY RESET and ERASE EVERYTHING
5. Wait for device to reboot
6. Pair remote by holding down the Back and OK buttons until it says Remote found . MAKE SURE YOU POINT REMOTE AWAY FROM RECEIVER WHILE PAIRING.
7. The device will take 5 to 10 minutes to finish updating and will then display the main menu.
8. Click OK on IPTV to begin watching your favourite programs.
IMPORTANT: If at any stage your device is still running hot or overheating after the Update, please unplug the Power from your device and call our Office immediately.

If your device asks for Authorisation or Activation, please complete the Contact Us form by clicking the link below. In the “Your Message” section, please type in the Authorisation code shown on the screen.

HD609 Software Updates

17-02-18   Please follow the instructions below to update your device:

1. Open a web browser on your PC, click on the link below and click “Download”

2. Copy the downloaded file to an empty USB stick.

3. Insert the USB stick onto your ZAAPTV HD609N.

4. From your device’s main menu, please go to “My Apps”, select “File Manager” and click OK.

5. Select “External Memory” and click OK on the APK to the right.

6. After the installation is complete, click “OPEN”.

(if you don’t click “OPEN” right when the installation is complete, you can find the new app on “My Apps”. Do not be confused, there will be two identical ZAAPTV icons. The correct one is the one to the left of the “Update” icon.)

7. Your device will ask for authorization. To Authorise your Device, please complete the Contact Us form by clicking the link below. In the “Your Message” section, please type in the Authorisation code shown on the screen.
